White Campion Flowers on the Sunset

by Tanbelia

"In this painting, I depicted a summer sunset in a wavy impressionist style. White campion flowers that became blue under the light influence. Their delicate petals and branches caught and illuminated by the sunrays. Behind them, ripe wheat spikes in gold and amber tones. "I aimed to depict the moment through the prism of water, let the viewer feel light shimmers, how air trembles, and how summer lingers just a little longer before night arrives.

The Cat

by Breann Brooks

This hand carved block print and acrylic piece highlights the strange and out of place. About the piece, Breann said: "I have always been drawn to cats, their mysterious associations, strong boundaries, and independence. This piece reminds me that perception is fluid, one man's bad omen can be magic to another, and luck is what you make it."

Orchids, Exploring The Canvas

by Jessica Hansen - SheehyArt

With a color scheme perfect for Valentines Day, this piece features a flowering orchid plant and its aerial roots slowly reaching out and exploring the canvas they were previously confined to. Captured in this work is the widespread life of orchids: found growing around the world on every continent but Antarctica, they live here once again - within the art world itself - after being brought to life on canvas by the artist Jessica Hansen.
